recently i moved, simply from one bedroom to another, yet i maintain that it was not that straight forward. i am still putting my life back together but what excited me most about this new room is the space available for a workspace. good golly now has a formal home; even if the rest of my life is still yet to be organized. i purchased a desk off craigslist and took it upon myself to refinish it. typically these projects end up sitting in my parents basement or garage for years, but this one needed to get finished to house the boxes, jars, and cases of beads that previouslly resided in the living room, whether the roommates liked it or not. half of the problem in making necklaces is that i do need time to walk away from them, and figure out if i love the arrangement, and in doing so i used to have to clean up everything. well now i am loving the freedom to leave my creative chaos and know i will not be bothering others. my desire to make was stifled by my hate for cleaning and now i have no excuse but to design, design, design. now if i could only get myself to clean and organize the rest of my belongings.

This is so great, I can't wait to see your new room all set up, it looks BIG in the picture... plenty of room to fit me under the bed :)
